WIPO patent codes added to Inspec

From January 2010 Inspec is adding International Patent Codes (IPC) to its records by mapping its own indexing schemes to the WIPO IPC scheme.

2009 marked another landmark for Inspec. Back in 1969 Inspec was launched for the IEE. The Institution's name has changed since then, but Inspec is still in existence, and growing faster than ever.

11 millionth record on Inspec

Following swiftly on from the addition of the 10 millionth record last year, 2009 has seen the upload of the 11 millionth record.

The 11 millionth record is an IEEE conference paper given at the 9th International Symposium on Communications and Information Technology. The research, entitled 'A novel non-cooperative power control game for cognitive radio networks', is from the Beijing University of Posts & Telecommunications and Inha University in South Korea, and examines developments cognitive radio networks.

We are extremely proud to have added our 11 millionth record only a year after achieving the 10 millionth record.”
